TAX FORMS
If you have problems as a partially sighted person filling in your self-assessment
forms, you can request a home visit from the tax office. You will need

TELEPHONES FOR THE BLIND
This small charity exists to help people with the cost of their telephones.
You must be registered blind, live alone or with a disabled partner,
and be unable to pay for the telephone. Help towards installation costs
and rental (not calls or the actual telephone). Applications should
be made through Social Services. For application forms call Telephones for the Blind on 01737 248 032.

Audio description is the art of translating visual images into verbal
ones, describing scenery, costumes, body language and action on stage.

THE MONTH IN BATH
A monthly Bath talking newspaper and information tape combined. The service
is free to visually impaired people in and around Bath, giving details
of local news, new talking books, national and technical information,
shopping guide, gardening, local sport, together with information on

TORCH TRUST FOR THE BLIND
Exists to encourage Christian fellowship among visually impaired people
worldwide, and to produce Christian literature in braille, large print,
