Sandra, Kit and Martha
Sandra Niven - General Manager
Sandra joined the society in 2004 with a varied resume, which included Group Marketing and Group Training management roles within various industries. Previously, she undertook the management of projects within the NHS PCT and the RUH, which involved the participation of community nursing and an understanding of the NHS financial network. Sandra is totally committed to providing practical support in the community through the volunteer network and with all the equipment, which is readily available from the resource centre.
Kit Hughes - Resource Centre Coordinator
Kit joined Vision Bath in early 2007. She is responsible for the Resource
Centre, loans of equipment, visiting members in their homes and issues
of ‘Wireless for the Blind’. Kit has a background of working
the caring setting, including the Royal United Hospital, the Royal National
Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, and St John’s Hospital. She also
has 12 years experience of working with another local charity.
Martha Vest - Social Club Coordinator
Martha is responsible for the smooth running of the social clubs, which includes coordinating transport for the members, arranging the entertainment, and managing the social club volunteers.
Brenda Whitchurch - Accounts Coordinator
Brenda is a volunteer who contributes one morning a week to the charity to assist in the accounts and doing payroll, petty cash banking, etc. She is the Company Secretary of her local woodworking business, and is experienced in running the accounts for small businesses.
